"EARTHPULSE"

This show features new paintings by Linda Wooten-Green, recently created in a temperate rain forest in Georgia, the striking black and white photography of Sue Lawler, beautiful wood sculptures by Robert Dewaele, unique ceramic vases, bowls and masks from Mike Dalton, and organic, mixed media sculptures by Marcia Joffe-Bouska.

First time in the Gallery classical guitarist Peter Vonk provides the mood.

May 17 and 18, "Thrown and Blown"

Saturday kicks off at 11:00am with Ed Fennell from the Crystal Forge firing up his traveling furnace for some on site glass blowing. Ed will be joined behind the Gallery by potters Pam Daly, Dan Toberer and Peter Scheer for some demonstrations on the potters wheel. They make it look easy, and if you want to get your hands dirty, don't be afraid to ask if you can give it a try.

The Plain Label String Band is going to drop by for a couple of hours in the afternoon to share some of their old timey music along with a little pickin' and grinnin'. Great family entertainment.

And where is all of that smoke coming from?
That's a not so famous Dave serving up brauts, big burgers, Philly cheese steak, BBQ beef and pork sandwiches, chips and sodas. There is a big tent set up, courtesy of Bob Copple, so don't worry if it rains, you can stay dry.

The weekend continues on Sunday with more from Crystal Forge and the potters, and Dave on the grill. This kicks off at noon and runs until 5pm. Dear Heart the clown will be down from 1:30 - 3:00 to do some balloon bending, or is that clown sculpting? Come on down and check out her prowess at making balloon animals.
