Rachel Mindrup


Rachel Mindrup is a professional artist and illustrator working in Omaha, NE and Kansas City, MO, who exhibits both regionally and nationally. After graduating summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from the University of Nebraska-Kearney, Ms. Mindrup continued her education at the Loveland Academy of Fine Art and the Los Angeles Academy of Art. Her studies include drawing and illustration under the instruction of Glenn Vilppu, Tony Ryder, and Mark Westermoe and painting under the instruction of David Leffel and Serge Michaels.

Ms. Mindrup's client list i ncludes: Peter Kiewit & Sons, Girls and Boys Town, Creighton University, Walgreens Corporation, Boys Town National Research Hospital and Miller Brewing Company. Her artwork is held in private collections such as that of Primatologist Jane Goodall and Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas. She has also illustrated numerous children's books through various publishing companies. Currently, she is teaching art at a local college as well as holding artist workshops for the local community.
